If vtf not exist. You will now have a bunch of dat files and pngs of converted sprays, rsync the pngs to your ftp. This way you dont do too many repeated file operations or converts, and you only upload each spray once. You can purge the sprays from your temporary directories id you like every now and again, just have rsync not replace files if exist on remote host.

vtfcmd does the job better, but it seems to only convert the first frame for a gif
i checked and it doesn't seem like theres a command switch to do all the frames

Nope.. I've tried to make this work till I was blue in the face...gave up along time go and there is no alternative.

I'd pay for a working alternative that came with detailed instructions on how to set it up!
