Well many things were not suppose to be possible, yet they are... Just saying how it was a huge overlook.

Valve has made it clear that they don't want servers redirecting users anymore, so therefore talk about such methods are not allowed here.

"Talk about", not really a term to use... We all are simply saying how it actually IS possible, so I guess you won't be supporting redirect plugins or simillar anymore... It's starting to go off-topic a bit, I just made this topic so I can show people what is going on and that they should be aware on what servers they're joining, servers do have a control to basically screw up your entire game and entire system really.

The fix is not to play on non-steam servers and keep your client updated.
