A few answers to the above questions:

1. Almost all old plugins will work without recompiling, they just can't be run in debug mode.
2. Old modules will not work, they must be rebuilt with the latest SDK.
3. The linux compiler had a last minute complication, it will be fixed for the next release.
4. The new "require_module" system was worded confusingly. What happens is, when you compile a plugin, it automatically knows what modules it needs. If you use the plugin without the module enabled, it will tell you.

Bug in installer?

An error occured while uploading "addons\amxmodx\data\GeoIP.dat"!
The system cannot find the file specified.

A ESF module, yay ^^ But however, I'll still use FakeMeta and Engine for changing ESF related stuff, I got really used to it. ^^

amxmodx itself is runnign just withough anyplugins......

the only ones that work is the ones that did not come with amxx...
