This thread is about how to control bots in CS2. I've tested a few thing on a local server.

I didn't get the following commands to work. How do I mark or select an area.
- bot_goto_mark
- bot_goto_selected
didn't work out or I don't understand how to get n area selected.

Is there anything documented about bots? Would like to create new wayypoints for bots at de_mirage. Or advise them to go to a specific point in the map.

Thanks for the links. Tested this wiki in CS2 and it didn't work like it should. Seems to be outdated for CS2.

- nav_edit 1 --> you can set it but thereis no visible feedback
- nav_mark --> no feedback

- nav_snap_to_grid -> unknown command
- nav_connect -> unknown command
- nav_generate -> unknown command
- nav_begin_area -> unknown command

Dam. I wanted help right now but, I have much difficulties.
I try reply when I have time some day.

I would guess... you could do those in modern hammer editor.

There is no nav editing in the client right now. Mappers set one point(kind of like nav_mark_walkable) and the nav is generated when the map is compiled.

I am curious to learn more myself. I only got 1 block with nav_attribute kinda working right. the bots still mostly do what they want. I would also like to know if we can include/change the botprofile.db file too. That seems to be packed in the files.

CS2 is accepting mp_bot_ai_bt as convar and doing sth with the file.

Does anyone have a running example for this kv3 file?
