I just noticed this today. Every time I restart my Linux CS:S Server my banned_user.cfg is getting cleared. I remove NemoD and it seems to have stopped getting cleared.

Has this happened to anybody else?

Is this a bug or a feature?

you must have exec banned_user.cfg in server.cfg .

It is in the server.cfg. The box has been up three weeks prior to the launch of HL2 and we've never had this problem until we installed NemoD. By not having the execute in the server.cfg, that would not result in the banned_user.cfg being cleared. The file was about 4kb in size, and is now 0kb (read: ZERO) in size. It got whiped clean.

Feature, or bug?

Linux is the latest Kernel on a Debian release.

I haven't had this problem (yet), running NemoD v0.2.5 + several others on a Linux-based install.

If you're having the problem, what OS are you using?

Linux CS:S Server on the latest kernel with the Debian release.

My post was out-dated by the latest release of NemoD - v0.2.6 and above fix this problem.
