Hi there, I was just wondering if there was a way of disabling rcon in game even with the rcon password? Thanks in advance

I think you can just "rcon rcon_password """ without the quotes.

But we use sourcebans, thats the problem

GIve the server a very complicated rcon password "MFOHDHF8DSYF8DSHJihfdsjkfjsd9f8u23urj9qfhnsd i" for example and don't give it to anyone. There's no way to disable rcon for your server otherwise.

Can't you just firewall the ports that rcon uses?

Setup the servers firewall to only have UDP open for the server. And then get your web servers IP address and allow it to connect to your server with TCP.

Worked for me when i hosted servers.

Yes firewall is better, at least still allowing you to visit and/or using software like HLSW and/or using Sourcebans remote console if you setup everything correctly.
