hmmm, it's maybe not because it's a registered server is it, does it block things like reserve slots from working? It might well do.

No clue. Doesn't it have to be registered to use that MvM matchmaking, though?

Aye, it does, just thinking it might be blocking reserve slot style plugins/extensions, maybe, no clue, just thinking out aloud as I have no idea why nothing seems to be working, haha.

Got this response in the Connect thread:

"You'll need a separate reserved slot plugin for MvM; MvM servers are really 32-slot servers with sv_visibilemaxplayers set to 6."

Now I'm really confused.

Nah, it works does my new version, he probably hasn't checked this thread! If MvM is detected the plugin looks at how many human clients are connected and if it's at the max capacity of MvM (which is 6) it'll kick a client, if applicable, or refuse connection.

Well, apart from for you, obviously, at the moment. I don't get why you get no logging at all from my plugin.

To be fair, when I posted that, I wasn't aware that IRS had been updated with specific MvM capabilities.

Have you checked the IRS version and verified that you're actually running 2.0.4?

Alternately, it sounds like the MvM detection is failing.

Yeah, it's odd, not even my debug code on my new version is happening though, that brbeaird is now using. Which it should do, it should, at the least, pop up and say/log [DEBUG] <name> (<steam id>) connecting but does not so I'm at a loss, it's like the hook isn't even happening but everything is loaded fine, so everything reports, by the looks of it. :/

Oh poop, I knew there was something I needed to test, to see if it worked OK in other games the MvM code! Erm, I'll sort that out, guess I should do a check to only hook that for tf2! Apologies, will get a new one out asap.
