Hello everyone!
I have installed the model manager plugin exactly as the below states:
Quote:
Installation: (video tutorial is in the next post)
  • Unsupported for anything below SM 1.5
  • You need to have the clientprefs extension for SourceMod (it's a stock SourceMod extension, if I remember correctly)
  • Place tf2_modelmanager.smx in addons/sourcemod/plugins/
  • Place tf2_modelmanager.phrases.txt in addons/sourcemod/translations/
  • Place tf2_modellist.cfg in addons/sourcemod/configs/tf2modelmanager/. Make sure this is lowercase.
  • Once all of these are placed, either do 'sm plugins refresh' in console, change the map, or restart the server. Then, go to tf/cfg/sourcemod/tf2_modelmanager.cfg and change any cvars you want to change.
  • If you're compiling yourself, you need morecolors.inc. You'll also need the latest SM 1.5 includes.
However, when I type "!mm" or "!tf_models" nothing happens. Nothing printed to the chat or console.
If it helps, here is a list of the plugins on my server.

Feel free to shoot any questions at me.

Should I mess with anything in the modelmanager.cfg?

Question for ya Sarge. Would it at all be possible to add in the code from that one Be the HHH plugin that makes the player's ragdoll use the custom model they were using when they died, as opposed to the ragdoll using the player's default class model?

Anybody else having weird issues with the plug-in not restricting certain models to admin-only any more?

I was supposed to fix this a long while ago. I still haven't made the (I think it's single-line) change. As a result, whenever I play MvM on my server, all bots ragdoll as humans. Joy.

Thanks for reminding me, though, I completely forgot (and probably will forget again since I can't work on anything during finals).

Errol: Go through your SM error logs (sourcemod/logs/errors_*). And this isn't FF2.

Weasel: I haven't so far, but I did change how the admin accesses worked for the plugin, didn't I? Something about admin overrides? Not sure.

Please excuse me asking about FF2, I was sitting down an hour ago and thought about it and was thinking "Why did I post that there?" Anyway, excuse my mistake.
Thanks for the tip! I went to the log and surely enough, I found something.

36:08: [tf2_modelmanager.smx] [TF2] Model Manager: WARNING- Your config file might be outdated! This may lead to conflicts with the plugin and non-working cfg. Fix this by backing up then deleting your current config and changing the map. It'll generate a new config with the default cfg, after which you can put in your settings.
Only thing is, the config has not been modified at all from the download you have provided, and deleting it and then restarting the server and typing the command did not generate a new config. Anyway you could supply me with an updated one? Thanks again for the help, I really appreciate it.

I'm having trouble adding Gaben as a pyro model replacement, I downloaded the server side version of the Gaben model and put the stuff in the FastDL folder into my FastDL server, then I added the server stuff to the custom folder in my server. (tf/custom/gabenmodel) then set it up in the model manager config. When I typed tf_models_reload after restarting the server it said 0 models were found, also it didn't even download the FastDL stuff. The other FastDL stuff downloaded properly except the gaben model. Any idea wtf is going on?

My guess, you didn't put the files in the right spot and/or didnt set the config properly. Also, which model are you trying to use, got a link?
