I am ready to pay 50$ to anyone who show me how to get setup with metamod, compile my first hello world plugin for orangebox engine and show me realy basic stuff to get me started on c++ metamod. I know basic of c++, advanced in sourcepawn, advanced in python. So you won't need to show me how to create a variable, functions etc... Private mail me on forum if you interressed to win 50$ easly. Have a look at the stub_mm and sample_mm plugins included with Metamod:Source's sourcecode.

Like i've explain it just to getting setup, not even write a plugin. Also I am ready to pay 60$ right now. It realy basic help, I want to be sure of my shot and have a good start on it.

This is bloody pitiful! The last edit to http://wiki.alliedmods.net/Metamod:Source_Environment was by me 2 years ago. I never did get a working environment put together (was attempting linux).

Let's do a thought experiment. You currently have a working build environment. A chunk of blue ice crashes through your roof and destroys your drive.

What is your procedure for recreating your build environment on a clean install of your OS?
And when is the last time you actually used that procedure?

When is the last time anyone verified that stub_mm and sample_mm still compile?

for windows you just need the sdk, sm source, mm source and a visual studio

for linux i suggest using debian5 for backward compatibility, as far as i remember all you need is
apt-get install build-essentials

the linux environment should run in a virtual machine and you should add the directory with the sdk etc as a shared folder to your vm, this way its pretty easy to compile for linux at least for me
