Hello. I've been using this plugin on my DOD 1.3 server for quite some time and have had no issues with it, when using .wav files. I recently changed my .wav files over to .mp3 to conserve space and reduce download time. I edited the .sma to allow for 150 sound files max instead of the standard 80 (still only brings up 78, 80 if you count the 2 you have set aside). Also, only 2 mp3s are working at all. Any ideas on this?

Also, I have it set so that no sounds will overlap.. but with the 2 mp3s that were working.. if you start a 2nd mp3, the first one just quits playing.

if you edit the .sma, you need to compile it

mp3s cannot overlap. this is only working with wav files.

Hello and thanks for support and your updates.

I have two small problem.

First one is, now, sanksound take priority on speechmenu.
For example i'm admin, i play a sound by speechmenu, not in sanksound list players can play (because freaky sound or something like that), and a player just say name of a sound, mine for speechmenu stop and his song start.
I want if a sound play by an admin from sank sound or speechmenu take priority and can't be cancelled by a normal player.

Another thing is about DISPLAY_KEYWORDS and announce of this plugin.
When players come on serv nobodys see we can type /sounds for have a list and when someone say /sounds, no one other see the command writed in chat. So can you check if this bug can be resolve and if can announce it when someone join serv.

Another question is :
is snd_list.cfg or SND-LIST.CFG same for you plugin ?

how can i add other commands for /sounds like /sons (i'm french and need to put another command mor intuitive for my language) or can you put also a multilanguage ?

Thanks for all and sorry for my bad enlgish

i cannot calculate the time of speechsounds, therefore the playtime is always 0 and even obey_duration is ignored

speechmenu is another plugin. sank sounds does not comunicate with it. see above for speech sounds. but if you want normal sounds not to be cancelled: set obey_duration to 1

DISPLAY_KEYWORDS is only for keywords that have sounds. the special commands like:
chat: /sounds /soundson /soundsoff
console: amx_sound_help
will not be displayed to prevent chat spam. there are many announcer plugins you can use to solve this.

snd_list.cfg and SND-LIST.CFG will work. i am not sure but i think win32 supports other formats like: snd-LIST.cfg too.
linux for sure will only support the first two.

you can change commands in function "public HandleSay( id )"
what you want is at line: 1324.
there is no supported for multilanguage.

Hi, nice plugin.
I'm sorry I didn't read thru 91 pages of the thread, but i've got a suggestion.
Would it be possible to NOT showing when someone types song name in chat?
