1.5 is without steam, i'm sure of that, but i don't know if AMXX was used with 1.5 too.
I'm in amxx for about a year now, I don't know what happened before

Alucard is correct, SteamIDs and ip/name have distinct uses unrelated to non-steam (think LAN usage).

We're not the Apple store so this really shouldn't come into the approval process. If someone doesn't want to support tracking by IPs or names, who cares?

Yeah, i PM'd him to help us because you said why amxx supports IP/name by default.
I see where i was wrong now, and i admit you were right.

Because it's stupid, outdated, and full of cheaters.
I don't understand why people would use that. I mean they can buy a pc and can pay for internet, but they can't spend 10€ on a game? That's lame.

Some simply prefer nonsteam community. It's all country dependant.
In Estonia, we have massive ammount of nonsteam servers, and few steam servers...but most of the players in nonsteam servers have steam...wierd but true.

saving by name+ip sure is a best way...if ip changes,they atlest have the name still,as backup ^^
