Ah yeah I'm sorry, I was confused myself. I was thinking of gs_public_roundtime, which disallows voting. There is not a cvar that disables autobalancing X seconds before round end. That would be awesome if you could add it!

This autobalanced on arena the other week btw, might want to look at that! No errors at all, just did its job at the wrong time, lol.

Hi, great plugin

However, every time I seem to update it people compain to me saying oh !scramble doesn't work anymore, oh 'scramble' doesn't work now. apparently now it's "votescramble". Is it possible to add these all back in? Or at least stop changing them?

I know its only a minor thing, but it's annoying for users who just think "oh the plugins gone". And for me who has to post announcements on the new command.

If you follow the changelog he added a cvar to make the vote use whatever trigger you want. It also posts announcements about whatever trigger you decide to use. Make sure you update all your files for the plugin to make sure you can use the new cvar.

I like to set different gscramble cvars for each map.
This is done by using map configs.

By default I would like no scramble, so in plugin.gscramble.cfg I have set:
gs_winstreak 0

But, I want my server to run cp_granary first to 4, with a scramble if the score reaches 3-0.
This would be (in cp_granary.cfg):
mp_winlimit 4
gs_winstreak 3

The problem is that when my server is changed to cp_granary, the gs_winstreak 3 does not stick. It is set to 0. I have tested other CVARs and it is clear to me that plugin.gscramble.cfg is being exec'd after the map configs.

Upon executing cp_granary after map load, the cvar gs_winstreak was set to the correct value of 3.
(AKA: while map is loading, gs_winstreak is read within cp_granary.cfg as 3, THEN within plugin.gscramble.cfg as 0. If I exec cp_granary shortly after map load, it is set again to 3.)

Is there something wrong with my server? I can't imagine this is intended.
Could anyone suggest a fix/workaround? Thanks.



edit: further confirmed by the following:
commenting out the "gs_winstreak" command in plugin.gscramble.cfg results in gs_winstreak being correctly set by the map config.


edit 2: temporarily fixed by making configs "general_5cp" "general_pl" "general_ad" etc which have desired gs_ commands, and then doing "wait 5000; exec general_5cp" etc within each map config.

The configs executed in this order: server -> map -> plugins and nothing wrong with it.
Solution is just put "gs_winstreak 0" in your server.cfg.
