else if you see red x flying around then edit the particle_manifest file e.g. exclude MvM particles.

So, they CAN increase the size of stringtables.

Well just had a Linux server crash cause of of that Host_Error: Overflow error writing string table baseline ServerMapCycleMvM --- valve makes me so mad to screw stuff up and leave for the weekend.

So, does that mean this extension (if updated) could still be useful/needed? (or just re-download the particle manifest file in the other thread and use that?)

Valve doubled the size of the MvM Precache table (from 1024 to 2048) during the Halloween update, so this extension won't really help you any more.

It handles sounds as well.
