You should try updating to the latest 1.5 snapshot and see if it works.

An interesting conundrum on my Source server - while the server loads fine, and the plug-in seems to load fine (I see the "so and so has connected from wherever" in my chat as people connect and disconnect), I have this in my server logs every time I restart the server:

-------- Mapchange to cs_office --------
L 05/23/2013 - 11:52:44: [GEOIP] GeoIP database info: GEO-106FREE 20091001 Build 1 Copyright (c) 2009 MaxMind Inc All Rights Reserved
L 05/23/2013 - 11:52:44: [SM] Fatal error encountered parsing translation file "cannounce.phrases.txt"
L 05/23/2013 - 11:52:44: [SM] Error (line 0, column 0): Stream failed to open
ConVarRef room_type doesn't point to an existing ConVar
Executing dedicated server config file server.

But again, everything seems to run fine - is this something I need to be worried about?

Nothing fatal will happen and your plugin will work fine, but it's having troubles while reading the translations from the cannounce.phrases.txt file, I suggest you download the plugin again and overwrite the old files. (keeping the files that you have modified).

Thanks for the quick reply - I will certainly try that, but keep in mind that cannounce.phrases.txt is one of the modified files you speak of - but if I understand you correctly, it's the way the plugin is interpreting that file (rather than the actual file itself) that might be the problem?

Well if you edited it, then it is having troubles reading (?) it. May I ask what you have edited? If you just changed the messages that it is reading then I don't see why it would have problems. Can you post what you have edited?

Update:

It is not edited (I was thinking of the wrong file), but I just logged in to my server via FTP, and the file isnt even there... 'addons/sourcemod/translations/cannounce.phrases.txt' - is missing...

So, I'm going assume that is my problem.

*EDIT*

And it certainly was - should have checked it before I posted, but didn't even think to look to see if it was missing. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction...

The red line ALWAYS means "you have not given me the translations man "
I always run into that when I am installing a new server with the an old server as stock ^^

I've added this on the script (cannounce.sp) :

Quote:
static g_iSColors[6] = {1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6};
static String:g_sSColors[6][13] = {"{DEFAULT}", "{RED}", "{BLUE}", "{GREEN}", "{OLIVE}", "{ORANGE}"};
Work on CS:GO, but not the orange color
