I'm using Sourcemod 1.1.0 and this plugin does not work, so I compiled it with 1.1.0 and I get this:

L 04/20/2008 - 12:25:40: [SM] Native "SetFailState" reported: An error occurred while connecting to the database.


Can you not just install this plugin and start rating? I don't wanna have to set up a DB ...

is there any chance you'll add the clients name beside the steamid into the database, too? It would be just for analysis.

I could do it by myself but I hope I can stick with your official releases.

Hi, very nice plugin. Can you add a translation file for the Ratings?
I think it is a cool feature, when evereybody gets the menu in his language with the ratings.

I've uploaded version 0.8 with two major changes. I've added the cvar maprate_autorate_delay (see the first post for details) and translations support.

Even if you're running the plugin in English, you can use the translations file to change the rating descriptions (e.g. from "Excellent" to "ZOMG BEST MAP EVER" or something).

If you upgrade to v0.8 be sure to download the new translations file maprate.phrases.txt

stevieboy: I'm aware of the utility of having names matched up with SteamIDs and have a different solution in mind. I'll PM you when I have something to show but it won't be for a few weeks unfortunately.

globeFrEak: I'm not sure what you mean by LAN mode. Could you clarify this?

I'd be very grateful for any translations you guys can provide and will integrate them into the translations file.
