Yes this exploit crashes all servers, both steam and nosteam. Btw the sister thread about it on steam forums they closed, probably because the tools to crash servers were posted. At least they know about it.

Yep, but nosteam servers already have protection against these two exploits. But some "Crab-counters" with trologlodite on avatar still didn't get that they have NOTHING...

PS: No-steam community reaction ~ 24 hours, valve reaction - ... still waiting?
PPS: Look in the deep eyes of truth, top of GameTracker servers - NonSteam, and 95% of them using amxmodx. You may pride!
PPPS: I'm not campaigning for use NonSteam, but something goes wrong in the kingdom.

Dude, decision has already been found.
If you like, when killing your server - it's your problem, you can not use dproto and other tools.
Who wants to protect the server from danger, they have already downloaded the necessary tools and not have problems.

I do not advocate piracy, I have a license server and licensing game. But since Valve is not going to fix the problem, then, sorry, I'll fix it by any means, even crack server.

Valve could care less about 1.6. They probably have 1 shmuck part time doing 1.6 vac & updates for all goldsrc games. Valve gets way more money from games like l4d2, or steam distribution deals then CS 1.6. Nosteam now accounts for like 75% of cs 1.6 players, it's up to us to come up with our own fixes.

This forum can "officially" not support nosteam but that's not really helping the community. Valve has obviously stopped caring, why does this forum still care? After all CS was originally free. Don't forget other competing engines like the Unreal engine and Quake 3 engine had their source codes released long ago. Nosteam is the natural result of any PC game being out this long.
