I think you're in way over your head here, johnjg. But if you insist on trying to compile them yourself, the HLSDK and Metamod source can be both found at http://www.metamod.org

I dont actually think that it is possible to compile with the toolkit
I've tried..
Various includes are missing, even after I've downloaded various include packages. Most of the ones I need come with gcc 2.95 or minigw in cygwin, however, visual studio doesnt like them

Actually, I ran into a bumch of errors on string.h from the amxmodx source
