I'm pretty sure you need consistency and pure so that players can see the cars.

Suggested CVARs:
phys_pushscale 1000
sv_hudhint_sound 0

You need pushscale so that if you crash and get stuck, if you hop out you can knife your car back onto the road.


Installation Notes:

Just put all the files in your cstrike directory. If it asks to overwrite some files, say yes. This does not come with any maps but it has 7 car models of mine. The default hl2 dune buggy doesn't work but if you find the edited one blodia released on this website you can use that. This plugin comes shipped with the Rally Race Times Addon by tigerox due to intense popularity and the sm_downloader plugin by SWAT_88 to manage downloading of files. The included downloads.ini is set up for sm_downloader. You can your own files/folders to downloads.ini as you desire.

car_horn_delay (1.0) -- Delay between horn honks
rallyrace_readytime (20) -- Countdown to start of race in seconds
rallyrace_racetime (320) -- Length of race in seconds
rallyrace_raceround (6) -- Number of races before map change


Player Commands
sm_siren -- Toggle the siren on a Police Car
sm_car -- Open the car menu
sm_car_menu -- Open the car menu


Admin Commands
sm_car_exit -- Admin exit a car
ray_cast -- Don't use this.
sm_car_on -- Start a deactivated car.
sm_car_off -- Turn off a car.
sm_driver -- Don't use this. Was a beta command to spawn driver models.
sm_car_lock -- Lock or unlock a car. If a car is locked players can not exit the car.

If you do plan on continuing to maintain this (which is great), it might be wise to just start a new plugin thread so that you can have control of the first post, not having to have people dig around to page 59 to find the latest version.

I'm very much interested. I've already been running it and it's great. There are a few bugs though.

Figured I'd paste it all since the errors get spammed a lot.

Besides that, one bug I noticed is that if you flip your car over, it spams the "out of the race" message instead of just saying it once.

I do have one suggestion; can you please add a cvar that lets us disable the ability to get out of cars entirely? People tend to troll others with this since it changes your view whenever it's done.
