corex i sent u my files... to ur email id
follow my steps to get server to work

1. copy dota2beta folder to another folder named as d2server (ex: d:/d2server/dota2beta )
2. extract d2server files from rar and copy all files from folder and paste in d2server folder (ex: d:/d2server/dota2beta )
3. simply launch server2.bat and u r server is ready to play..

There is no reason to email files around.

Metamod:Source can be found at sourcemm.net from trusted mirrors, D2Fixups can be found on the forums here in the MM:S plugins section, and you very likely don't have permission from Valve to redistribute the Alien Swarm server executable.

Well, last versions of MM:S and D2Fixups dont work for most of us apparently. So unless you didnt update stuff (which i hope) to fix "Reference Count" we r all stuck

Maybe an obvious question but im assuming you have the last update of dota2 right? i mean it's not that u have steam in offline mode since when it works right?

Steam.inf file is missing so im assuming you have 579 in both entries, right?
