hmm. I'd have to install map ratings, but That might be a better idea than nominations, just maps people rate highly. I shall return at some point with my verdict.

Hey, Sillium. Any idea of what causes the mapvote sometimes to switch to the wrong map? It seems zerak doesnt further support this plugin. I tried nearly everything but nothing works to get around this! I did not want because dont have much time but it seems i have to learn this language ..

At least there should be a `quick and dirty´ solution to this Bug.

I never really looked into the problem because it does not happen too often on our server... and maybe because I'm too lazy ;-)

Try what is posted in the other post. If it does not help we should try to find out what circumstances lead to the problem. Maybe we find a fix then.

Also try to set sm_mapvote_novote "0"

IMHO, it's the only way to do map votes ATM. We use it on all of our servers. Here's our current ratings and sorting:

What you're doing is pretty similar to how we were using it. I didn't know you could have 6 slots though. Me and kenny loggins and shustas are having something similar to this coded, as this has no support anymore. Ours will be a bit more comprehensive involving its own rtv and nominate in one plugin hopefully.

Thanks for you help. Tried as described with the result of server-crashes every few hours.

Next thing is that it seems to happen more often every day. 1 Month ago it was very rare but atm its about every 5th map or so.


Even if i set the nextmap with "sm_setnextmap" it changes to a different one!

Maybe its somehow the mapchooser. I dont know. But with no solution i will have to change to another Voting-System. But this one is the best i know in Sourcemod.

im using this too, before i had a limited maplist rotation, because if u had too many map you could have just crappy maps to vote from, with this you can put always 3 popular maps 2 custom etc.
My issue with it is that nominations doesnt work, nextmap plugin before the vote says a random map, instead of sayng waiting for vote or etc, and sometimes the map that wins the mapvote isnt the one that changes to, and sometimes u type sm_map .. and changes to complety diferent map too

Theres any plugin around that works like this one, but have those problems fixed ?
