As far as I know, it determines bots by connection time (-1s) and if we were to spoof that some how, I think the problem would be solved.

ping too, bots are < 5 ping. We know we can change ping.

Yep, what really screws it up is the fact that in the in-game browser, it subtracts the number of fakeclients from the total slots.

So a 32 man server, with 26 bots on it, would show as a 6 man server in the server list....................

It's stupid tbh, there's no reason why 'bots' that leave the server once someone joins should make the server appear to have less slots.

yes valve just loves to fuck with server admins, have to idle every morning in some of our servers now to have them playable in the afternoon

yeah i now have to leave a comp logged in to spec 24/7 just to make sure i stay on the "has users playing" list

Woot read 49 pages to find this problem 1 hour of reading but finerly anyway yea i am having that problem to i recently downloaded this program and i say it is great except that about this new problem when will it be fixed? cant wait!
