I havent seen any errors since then - sometimes ppl on the teams keep the awp if they already bought it before their Team got limited.

Please, re-phrase it for me - You want to say the people sometimes are able to buy more awps than the limit for a team?

i try :

Player A is able to buy a AWP because he's in the losing-team - but if they become the winning-team and he already got the awp before he could still use it. they dont drop it on 'their winning-team round start'.

i dont know how they manage to do so - but it happens from time to time.

Hello KWo.

Well it was working fine.
At least I thought it was.
I have it set to 2 per team and no winlimit.
I have the autos restricted through the normal channels with the restrict plugin that comes with AMXX.

We haven't been full for a few weeks, guess finals were taking up everyones time.
But last 5 days we have been full.
24 slots dedicated with Nuclearfallout rentals.
Now it seems that the teams can get three AWP's instead of two.
So I thought maybe turn it down to one and it would be where I wanted it.
But not so.
If someone lives WITH the AWP @ rounds end, he keeps it and then two more can buy on. That was the first set up.
Now, if two have the AWP @ rounds end, they keep it and someone can then buy one.
I asked and they buy through console and/or with buy script.
So I had to turn them completely off tonight.
It became a AWP whore fest and players don't like that.
So maybe there is a little more work to do.

I placed the plugin at the top of the list.
I placed it at the bottom of the list.
I even placed it there all by it self.
Same results, and a lot of work doing so! :-(

I think I have to add the same kind of code the default restmenu.amxx has to be resist against buy scripts...

Hello again.
I got a rebuy block script from another thread.
And it works just fine, the rebuy menu is blocked so players can't use it.
And with the autobuy being blocked with the restrict.amxx plugin already, I was wondering how we can get this sniperlimit to work now?
I have it set to 1 and we get three.
I have it set to 2 and we get three.
I haven't set it to any higher than that as we don't really want any more then 2 per team anyway.
When I set it to 0, it actually restricts the awp???
So how can they be getting the awp's?
And does anyone actually have this working fully and smoothly on your server.
Oh, I run CS 1.6 with AMXMODX latest version as posted long ago above in these threads.

It looks like the current calculator of awps using per team during the game doesn't work at all for some reason. I have to add some code to calculate awps at every round end. I'll post the test version during 2 days.
Another thing is this - for some reason the setting "checkrebuy" is not working for You - but if You have it set to 1 You shouldn't need to use that extra plugin to blocking it. Can You send me at priva that rebuy script the people are using on Your server You had to extra block?
Another thing is this - where is the place You are trying to configure amount of awps and other settings of this plugin? They should be placed in amxx.cfg at the bottom of that file. Something like that:

Just realised that there is already a calculation of used awps/autos at round start - so something really screws up that calculation. It makes me confused. I may need to get some kind some access to Your server. The main problem is - locally I can test it only with bots (I don't have the server I can test this plugin with humans, but the bots are not using any scripts to buy anything)

Either You are using any of older versions of this plugin or some other plugin makes some interferences with sniperlimit plugin. I did some tests and what I could see was this - when max_awps (2) limit has been reached by my team, I used "rebuy" command (a round before I bought an awp, then I died). I couldn't get the awp - I got te message "Too many awps in Your team" or something like that. I couldn't pickup it, too - got the same message. I was trying also to use "awp" command and the same. Teseted few times on different maps. All the time I was displaying the current amount of awps and autos per team (at round start at weapon aug pickup, and at buying it). If the bot was able o buy it anyhow - it has been forced to drop it. So all the time it was OK. Haven't tested with winspread limits.
