1st post is all cleaned up so downloads are smaller and also I have added
amxmodx and SH1.17.5 BETA for both cstrike czero both listen and dedicated

SH mod that works with whatever heros I choose.
An amx or amxx, whatever works best with SH mod.
In and autoinstaller for cstrike.

Which one of the autoinstallers should I choose then?
Please help...

EDIT: And also, where should the files be put?

or
Username\Dedicated Server\cstrike
?

The only one thaqt all heros work for is amx 9.8a, but make sure when you choose the hero downloads, you get the right version for it and not the amx 9.9 or amxx version

also, just direct it to user\dedicated server because it comes in a cstrike folder. just make sure you back up your existing cstrike folder, ex put a copy on your desktop. That way if you are not happy for any reason, you can just delete the new one and put the one on your desktop back in

I now have, and of some reason, it doesn't load AMX mod 9.8a... It loads 9.7... And it is the right installer!

if you have a working dedicated server, with no mods, all you need to do is
-if you use the installer, direct it to the dedicated server folder, but you must have a working dedicated server from steam

-if you use the folder, not the installer, the folder contains a cstrike folder, take the cstrike folder and paste it into the dedicated server folder and confirm overwrite, this will take your working cstrike folder and add all the components needed for sh mod all set up

just make sure to back up

NOTE: I used to host full working cstrike folders, but it took up too much space and bandwidth so the files I have now only contain the plugins, but not the working steam folder

I think it works now, however, my dedicated server lags even when I enter it. Do you have any idea why?

EDIT: It's ping goes from the 10 to 5000, mostly around the 500-2000... Normally it doesn't... Any program or anything can change it?

if you play on the same machine that you run a dedicated server, you most likely will have that, but search the forums for lag, or try

yes, but listen server is a little different, if you want all the heros, you can try to use 9.8a and then try this

or you can use 9.9 which I think is pointless but some use it, just any hero that requires xtrafun module wont work unless recoded to do so

finally you can use amxmodx 0.20 which works fine on listen server(when you select new game) you just need to recompile the heros(non stock heros) to work with it, most will work but some may not so add them slowly because they may recompile without error yet still give you problems

for listen, the files go in the username\Counter Strike folder not the Dedicated server folder. If you can get 9.8a to work, I think it would be great, but if not, go with 0.20

Can't you make a listen server installer for AMX Mod 9.8a + The best of the metamods and SH Mod 1.1.7.4, plus the VexdUM?

Cause I am not good at installing such manually...
