I installed it on my local server, and it worked fine.

But I also have a rented server. Will copying server_i486.so from $SRCDS/cstrike/bin and uploading it as csserver_i486.so to $SRCDS/bin work?

Or MUST I get the server comp to symlink for me??

Thanks

Looks like symlinking must be done, instead of copying/renaming. The server crashes everytime then, with memory segment errors...

Yes, it will...
The reason is that the server_i486.so is loaded and executed by the HL2 engine. My plugin then must link to the same instance to be adressing the same data areas. If you copy it then the system will load the copied server_i486.so module and create new data areas. These are of course different and you will crash...

I will try to find a different way without having to create symlinks or changing environment PATHs... (suggestions are welcome)

That would be cool XAD, a lot of us dont have telnet / root access etc to create softlinks so being able to just ftp the file would be great.

really want the hitbox logging for psychostats

Hi OLO!

No, not at all... CmdXS is following the same name standard as the rest of the components in this plugin, ie
- MbrXS, Member Manager, XAD's version, for Source
- WpnXS, Weapon Manager, XAD's version, for Source
- StatsXS, Statistics, XAD's version, for Source
- CmdXS, Command Manager, XAD's version, for Source

As I told you before, I used CmdXS before for "CmdX for Source", but as you told me when I asked, I wasn't allowed to publish it so I trashed it...

Also as you remember I used the name StatsX, X for XAD, even before you published CmdX so it's not a new naming schema.
