maybe taking adrenaline gives you the boost to be able to lift yourself up? that makes perfect sense. and it would depend on what kind of pills.

yes releasing a hand from the ledge and putting all your weight onto just 1 so that you can open a bottle of pills with your teeth and inhale the bottle is definitely believable.. this is almost as silly as the guy who was asking for incapped people being able to climb ladders.
