For CS:GO, I believe you should be using 3.4.6. See this post: https://forums.alliedmods.net/showpo...postcount=4355

Speaking of UMC and SM 1.7, I've made a few fixes to it to make it compile on SourceMod 1.7. The main differences are that it uses SM 1.6's new calls for getting Functions and then stores them in a private Forward instead of storing them directly.

The source code is also stored in my copy of the UMC Github in the master branch. The only difference between that and the source code for the version in this thread is that I've disabled debugging messages in the attached version.

If you haven't used my last 3.4.6 version, do note that in CS:GO, any sounds you set should be MP3 files as this uses EmitSoundAny internally.

It appears to work correctly using both the standard UMC "core" vote system and the umc-nativevotes "core" vote system but could use some more thorough testing.

Is there a way to end the round on trade servers after a set period of time? I've been on trade servers with this plugin that have a timer at the top of the screen. When that timer hits 0 it ends the round with "stalemate" as of course it's on a trade map and has no objective. Then the map changes.

Anyone know how to do this?

UPDATE: I figured it out, it's a server cvar called "mp_match_end_at_timelimit 1"
It sets the whole server to end the round at the end of the map time limit as well as displaying a nice native timer at the top of the screen for how much time is left.

You keep asking the same thing. It's been answered already. This is the best information you are probably going to get about it:

Only the SourceMod 1.8 MapChooser and its subplugins have been updated to:
  • Properly resolve and track workshop map names (i.e. they know that "workshop/123456789" and "workshop/pl_mymapname_b1.123456789" are the same map)
  • Print the "nice" version of Workshop map name, such as "pl_mymapname_b1" (this is something new in SourceMod 1..

I will eventually update UMC to support this, but again it won't do anything if you're not using SM 1.8.
It sounds like what he is saying is that you should use SM 1.8 Mapchooser until he updates the code for UMC. You can keep checking for updates in the Github repository linked to in the original post.

Don't get me wrong, UMC's support for Workshop maps could definitely improve.

There are three major issues with it right now:
  • Map names are currently restricted to 64 characters.
  • Map names are still displayed as workshop/whatever
  • The recently played list doesn't handle workshop maps well.

The second and third are more complicated to change in UMC than they were in the SourceMod MapChooser.

Edit: Part of the reason this is difficult is because UMC uses KeyValues everywhere and the actual keys aren't documented...

Thank you for that response. I don't really know TF2, nor Workshop maps. It sounds like you are saying that UMC does work with the Workshop maps, with those 3 issues highlighted above. This user, doroemon, keeps asking for help on the same issue. I'm not sure what the problem is, perhaps a bit of miscommunication due to a language barrier. It almost sounds like he's got it now, but I'm not really sure what was ever going wrong. Unless it was just those issues you have listed above, which I would consider "bugs", but I would call that "functional with bugs".
