YouEnemy's version uses specific locations to spawn meds, in other words it only works on stock maps. Bigbuck wants it to work on all custom maps too.

You're not giving any help. In fact you're discouraging help. You aren't helping the community get a flawless plugin, you're just tell them "Hey! This isn't as bad as the others, you guys can get by with it". Helping would be giving suggestions on how to solve a bug.

I appreciate you trying to help, but all your doing is pointing them somewhere else and saying it works when it obviously doesn't for them. This is what I have been trying to say for two pages.

Oww bugger that would have saved you guys some trouble. Thanks for your efforts Bigbuck and Savagekid. People still seem to be flocking to the server regardless of its flaws so I guess I'm still happy.

anyone knows why in a coop server (with this mod) when the campaigns ends directly changes to another map instead of showing the credits with the stats ?

I'm not getting it with my server with this plugin either.

Anyone know how to make special infected come out more often ?

And maybe 2 at a time .... ( in Coop mode for sure )

Love the mod. Great work. It would be nice to be able to change the number of infected and survivors on a campaign basis. At the moment it reverts back to the cfg settings.

Is that possible?

Alright first things first, i'm not much of a scripter... I guess the correct term to be used without stigma, for me is a script kiddie...

I host a 14 man L4D server through a popular gaming host, i dont have command line access to the server, i am however able to edit the server.cfg files and have full ftp access...

I'm having a HARD time putting this server together the way i want it, i want the server to be a 14-man Vs ONLY server without lobby connect so the server constantly stays on versus maps and versus mode.

I've tried and tried again.

-The map stays constant (Doesnt change, 2 rounds of the same map)

-Boomer cant spawn anywhere close to the survivors (I have to spawn REALLY far away from them)

-The server isnt allowing more than 8 people to join now, (The first time i set it up, the server let 14 people join but it was running only campagin and the rest had to be spectators...)

-It's just one big clusterfuck...


So what im trying to get to is, i've played on a few servers with this set up right and i absolutely LOVE it. I need a little help if it wouldnt be bothersome to someone, all i really want is a step-by-step how-to on setting up a 14(or 16 w/e) man versus server that ONLY PLAYS VERSUS maps. one not filled with a bunch of techno jargon...

If anyone could please help i'd greatly appreciate it. A post, a link to a step-by-step 14(or 16 w/e) non jargon filled..... ANYTHING! really...
