is there anyway to make it so that the fakeclients dont leave to make room for real players?

make sure you have

exec fakeclients.cfg

in your server.cfg file, it should execute every map

doesn't help me. anyone else know of a command that will make it so they dont leave during the whole map and everymap.

It's designed to keep a minimum number of players. If you want more the only way to do that is change fakeclients_players to a bigger number.

changing the amount of fake clients doesn't help. if i added 10 once there is 10 ppl in server there is no fake clients. if i add 20 once there's 20 ppl in the server theres no fake clients. what i want is where i can set the minimum amount of fake clients in the server at all times.

Have a problem with the compatability of Mani v1_2 beta and the fakeclient plugin...

When I install the fakeclient plugin.. it works fine.. But the bots are named "fakebot" "1fakebot" "2fakebot"

Any ideas why?? And how to fix?

Make sure you add
exec fakeclients.cfg
to your serv er.cfg file.

Also, make sure that fakeclients.cfg is in the cfg directory.

I run 4 Source servers... And On three of them it works.. on the fourth it doesnt.. All machienes are identical.

The only difference is the Mani v1_2 beta plugin on the one machine... This is the one that doesnt work!

So I assume its a conflict between mani v1_2 beta and fakeclient. As I have installed all 4 in an identical way!

I would GREATLY appriciate if you fixed the "fakeclient, fakeclient1, fakeclient2............" bug..

There is no bug that I'm aware of. It must be a machine specific problem because it works fine on all the other servers out there.

Make sure that your paths are right to fakeclients.cfg (it should be in gamedir/cfg, for example cstrike/cfg) and that you have added "exec fakeclients.cfg" to the end of your server.cfg file.

Try running "exec fakeclients.cfg" through rcon when the map changes or server restarts. Do you get an error message? Does the cfg run and it works?
