What OS are you running?
Windows XP Spanish
Service pack? (Start->Run type "winver", its at the end of the second line)
Version 5.1 (Build 2600.xpsp1.020828-1920: Service Pack 1)
Where are you getting this error?
I press "Ok" in the welcome message, then Error 5 Runtime appears.
How did you try to install? (Local, ftp, etc)
I installed on my local computer with AMX Mod X Full with Installer.
Anything else you think is helpful?
I have already install the VB5 Runtime and Java, but nothing works.

Old 04-09-2005 , 21:27   Code for Error 5
#36

I haven't looked at any of the code or anything, but isn't it in C++? I used to know that pretty well and if any of you know where or in what file or have any information about this error 5 thing, maybe I can look at it (and hopefully maybe everyone else having this problem can look at it) and possibly help out instead of just posting that there is a problem?

Just an idea. I probably won't understand much of the code or be of much help but I thought it was worth a try. And it would certainly be better than sitting around waiting.

Thanks
