You might be more lucky here: Rolnaaba's Superhero Tutorial
It shows how to create lasers and all other stuff. You dont really need any scripting skills for that whatsoever, so it should be fine.

i love the hero generator ALOT, i use many times to make many heros for my server the only bad part is it doesnt spawn with the gun u set it for in every round, when you die u dont respawn with gun thats the only bug/bad part ive seen to it and tried adding the script that the guy made a TUT on how to make heros in scripting section but it didnt work. if you help, it would be very much apperciated. http://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?t=52521
