thanks for the response......I also run a HLTV bot that records demos 24/7.......I noticed that that bot gets kicked as well

my bot for HLTV is named tonyspy ........he got kicked I noticed...........just letting you know, I'd rather not have tonyspy kicked, hehehehehe

yes because hltv is considered as a bot, but maybe i can kick only fakeclients, i will look into it this weekend

cvars not working for me. It doesn't seem to matter what I set players to. It only spawns 5. Using this in TF2, btw.

if you change cvars in game, fakeclient number are not updated

put cvars in server.cfg and it will work on change map

Any luck about hiding bots / fakeclients from steam-masterserverlist or server query? I think it could be simple to do that, maybe some one with coding skill just can change the server cvars clientcount, botcount and clientmax? I'm not sure but i don't think that the steam masterserver is checking all the steam-id's after reciving the servers heardbeat.

So i hope some one is trying it out, just lower the botcount always to 0 or -1 if a bot or fakeclients are added and rise the clientcount +1.

Hate to burst your bubble, but aren't those cvars that can't be changed? if you look at the cvar list in HLSW, those cvars are greyed out so you can't change them...
