Dont think this can work with versus guys.

Unfortunatly valve decided to just completely shut down a server if either team has absolutly no human players.

in versus can a fifth survivor bot that does absolutely nothing be spawned in the safe room at the end so the bots will attempt to regroup to it, all the way through the level?

thats a good idea but what if all the bots died and the only bot left was the one in the saferoom?

Normally, that single bot will teleport to the others.

It is a good idea though.

If you look at the Source, you can see i tried somethhing like this, "BotBait". It doesn't work. To get Versus Bots working one must find the spot where Valve disables their advancement AI.

i found the solution for survivors in versus.

spawn an incapped survivor in the safe room

you know, there are some places where survivors can't move, but they could easily be solved by teleporting them.

atomic: in swamp fever, first chapter, after you warp the survivor across the river can you please also press the button of the ferry? because the survivor don't stop spammin "get on the boat, get on the boat, get on the ferry, everyone on the boat" and is so annoying.

also: dark carnival finale: when the message "a bot is ready to rock! (or something like that)" appears you could warp them to the light pannel (at the top of the seats, where medkits usually spawn) si they press the button and they press the console by themselves.

Bot advancement WORKS on both of these Spots so i dont NEED to fix anything

Pressing the ferry button via code is impossible, and the Bots dont do it or even worse - teleport into the damn river.

Pressing the light button is fidgety business aswell, using a fake Call is much much easier.

then don't teleport them across the river, they can use the ferry. i tested it today and they didn't have any problems using the ferry.
come one they are THAT mindless

and my problem with the dark carnival finale is...they don't grab the medkits behind that panel. so i was saying that you could telepor them there jus to grab them.
