Latest version casues error.

[Sound] S_StartSound(): Failed to load sound '*music\ng\quake\female\prepare.mp3'. Can't create mixer.

//Edit: nvm, was my fault (clientsided)

You can to add replay one kill sound like ding in original valve deathmatch cs go?!

Hi there,

I have recently ordered a cs source server.

I have the plugins quakesoundsv3 and BEsaysounds.
Both are looks like to work (BEsaysounds says knorde plays sound... and quake sounds say type/quakesounds or something to change settings).

But i never here some sound.
And yes, the speakers are ok

Sound is working ingame (when i shoot i hear gunshots).
Only the plugin sounds don't work.

Anybody knows how i can get it to work?

Anyone else use this plugin perfectly on CS:GO? Since the sound update that I can't hear any sound correctly (only the first blood, and that's when I die).

Update! - 3.5.0
  • Sounds should now work properly with CS:GO
  • Game Detection updated to be more efficient

This is a critical update for CS:GO server operators, other games don't matter so much.

Hello guys, what's the problem, i can't hear quake sounds when i kill enemy just when he kills me, in quake config sounds number is 9. Please tell how to fix it thanks <3 In console have 0 errors.

Can you tell me which version and which sound it is you're having problems with?

If you're not using the latest 3.5.0 version then you should try updating to that, there were a few code optimizations in that.

I'll be releasing 3.5.1 soon which will change the order of some sounds priority when it comes to special kills and streaks, aswell as a few more optimizations and bugfixes if anyone finds anything, currently I cannot fully test anything myself as i'm restricted to my laptop for a few days (just moved house).

Any news? Cause the latest version sounds are not working. Getting the precache output in console

As of the recent update, there was a bug with some of the sound stuff. It's mostly client related, i've had no issues regarding this but my friend on the same server had those problems. He fixed it by deleting the "tf/download" and "tf/sound" folders and then validating game files via steam. Then his sounds worked properly on my server.
