Hiding the tags for the sounds works just sometimes... the first time I type it doesn't show in the chat window, the next time it shows.

Sounds go in your mods "sound" directory (such as sound/misc/filename.wav).


Where is that located for L4D2?

I don't know what I did wrong, but only half of my sounds work for this plugin. I have them all added to my redirect server and my game server. They are all individually added to my downloads.ini and my saysounds.cfg

I am running CSS
with MM 1.8 and SM 1.3

Could somebody help me with this please.

sm_saysoundhe_sound_limitt 1 or

dosen't work players still play unlimted amount of sounds per round

That's probably because half of your sound triggers contain multiple words.
Either set "sm_saysoundhe_sound_sentence" to 1 or, if it still doesn't work, just use one word as the trigger.
f.e.
"YesMaster" instead of "Yes Master"

Well there was a typo on the OP so the cvar is"sm_saysoundhe_sound_limit", the limit per person works fine.

Quick question...I want to use this for admins and "donators" who use the admin flag of "a" and "b" for reserved slots and class immunity.

What flag does this plugin use to consider someone in the "admin" group? I scanned all the posts in this thread and unless I have missed it, I could not find my answer).

I just installed the Saysounds plugin and came across the very same issue. The funny thing is that the two worded sounds are the ones that work, and not the other sounds.

Some of my sound triggers aren't working, and I've tried a few different ways to see if it would fix it. It didn't. The headshot trigger and the steam ID triggers aren't working, and the random trigger is only playing file1. I can play them manually through the console.

Also, when I try to change the defaults from the sm_saysounds script or directly through the console, it always comes back with an "Unknown Command" error. Otherwise, every other sound works.

I'm running Mani Mod and Source Mod on a Counter-Strike: Source server.
