According to another person in another thread, Valve has a console command for the survivor precaches. It is a valid command when I tried it out, but I have not tested it. Can anybody confirm it works?

precache_all_survivors 1

This could be useful to your plugins mi?

That cvar may be very helpful, I will implement that into the plugin.

As for as spawning the bots, sorry guys but I think I'm going to remove them in the next version until I ensure that Bill is working 100%.

No, Louis is a bot.

Then again, it might be only on the Passing for me, he was fine on Dead Echo.

I have tested precache_all_survivors 1 with CSM and I have had no crashes what so ever.

However, in L4D1 campaigns, the icons and sounds do not carry over when changing character (I chose the character, NOT the model). Other than that, everything seems to be fine.

The only reasons I want your fixed Bill in kwski43's 8 survivor plugin is :

l4d_csm_l4d1_bots is not compatible with your MultiSlots plugin and Superversus.

This is what I have to report.

.All the Original 4 survivors work without crashing
.Random Hordes only spawn when there is 1 human player L4D2 Character
.During the Finale in Swamp Fever, Francis and Bill activating the Finale bring no horde

All in all, it's still very well done and I appreciate your work greatly.

Checked with superversus. Confirmed. I would like to add the method to spawn Bill to the code of Kwski but I can´t understand the logics that mi used in CSM (I´m not as skilled than him).

Because the spawning of Bill used old logics in Kswki´s plugin, making crash the server.

Im not skilled either,what I can do is change minor things like cvars,hook events.

It appears precache_all_survivors 1 is only useful in L4D2 levels with l4d2 survivors as default. However a bug I got using that and this plugin is when the next level loads it applies a new character to one of the L4D1 survivors, usually Bill.

So you end up with 2 Bills.
