ah hang on i may be confused.
I thought you were talking about a player specific custom join message. If you mean the enhanced vs normal one then there are cvars to determine which ones show and you can configure that the the cannounce.cfg file.

If its still showing both then it might be broken in which case i need to know the mod.

Oh no not the specific player messagae just the general message. I have completely disabled cannounce and it is still displaying a player to country/ip message (I dont have any other connect announce plugins), might you know what is causing this?

Well either its not disabled properly (deleted plugin or moved to disabled dir, then unload or restart server) or you do have another connect announcer type plugin.

Definetly try restarting the server if its still showing...

Hey there, still using your plugin.

I got a question, could you implement a way to display a different custom connect/disconnect message to admins?

So you could define seperate messages in cannounce_settings.txt that only admins will see?

You mean which admin flag?
I think just b (generic admin) will be fine. :p

Btw, dunno if it was totally clear before, but I mean that if enhanced connect/disconnect messages are used, admins will see different messages also defined in cannounce_settings.txt, and not the one that non-admins will see.

Maybe also make a cvar so that you can define whether admins will get these different enhanced messages, so server admins who don't like this feature don't need to change these (just the normal ones). :)

Hi arg pls help me i have no sounds when players connect or disconnect

SV_StartSound: buttons\blip1.wav not precached

same with

SV_StartSound: hl1\fvox\flatline.wav not precached

Pls help me i have only edit the cfg/sourcemod/cannounce

sm_play @all /hl1/fvox/flatline.wav
sm_play @all /buttons/blip1.wav

works perfect

(tf2/hl2/sound)

try using the sm_playsnd command, it should help confirm any pathing issues with the sound files.
