Bad RCON password

Yeah im the Server Admin with full rights! Thats my Problem!

When i type "acematch" in HLSW it works fine! Because HLSW send the Rcon Password to the Server! But when i type this command in Game i got the upper Message in the Console and nothing happens

So I don´t understand this...

So how do you exec any of your configs or indeed run any scripts?

There is somthing wrong in your set up. "acematch" in hlsw should do nothing.

to run the config from hlsw you need to enter:

exec acematchgo.cfg or exec acematchgo

"acematch" is merely the say command to exec the line above.

The acematch.cfg should never be run directly otherwise the script will not work.

Search the mani site or the steam site from rcon password problems. TBH this problem is NOT related to my script and the thread is getting hijacked.

IF it works via hlsw it makes me think that the rcon password in autoexec is either wrong or not connecting.

Try something for me,
Try logging in using rcon_password yourpassword
and then try the acematch command

If that works then you will be able to tell whether it's your autoexec command that is wrong.

UPDATE need to trun OFF mani war mode otherwise team swap doesn't work!

If you want compatibiltiy with BOTs please paste these two lines into the file:

acematch.cfg

if (server_var(resetcounter) equalto 1) then bot_knives_only
if (server_var(resetcounter) notequalto 1) then bot_all_weapons

NOTE:

I Recommend you use all the new 2.16 files as they are improved and include all updates including this one.

Please confirm if this works with it in war mode?

Is it only the swapping of teams that doesn't work with war mode on? I could live with us having to do that ourselves I think?

Also, I am trying this now with bots... and we onto round 4... with knives only still? Erm, I think something went wrong somewhere?

If something went wrong it must be with the install mate. It works fine. Bear in mind that none of the weapon limiting or team swapping etc will work properly with war mode on. Have you got the latest version and made all the correct settings as per instructions?

Copied the text for the server.cfg, inserted my own steam ID for the screenies, uploaded the cfg files into events and the server.cfg

Was there anything else? It's not a hard install... I followed the instructions

Erm yes, this is not correct at all.

1st be sure you have the latest version and do a clean install.

Copied the text to server.cfg = OK
uploaded cfg files into events and server.cfg = not correct.

There is no server.cfg to upload at all, only copy a few lines.

Also not all files go into your "events" directory

The files acematch.cfg, acematchgo.cfg, aceswap, lo3.cfg go into your main cfg folder (../css/cstrike/cfg/)
The other files go into your ../css/cstrike/cfg/events/ folder

btw I have 5 people mailed me (not from this forum) saying thanks it works great, that is how I know it is installation error.
