I'm not completely sure, it just appeared after a while as I was testing the cURL script...

I just did a quick test and the captcha appeared after getting two incorrect logins.

I'm not sure if the captcha appears when a user gets an incorrect login or just after a certain number of logins/attempts.

Only on incorrect login, AFAIK

Yeah, i see no reason for them to set it otherwise. Now that we have this, we should be able to create this plugin.

I'd love to see something like this for CS1.6 as well. As long as it's not spamming everyone, and it gives an option I don't see anything wrong with the idea. I hope it happens, good luck!

well the idea is for people to type !join when they're in the server, but somebody will probably take advantage of it. I just hope they don't.

I think I could get it working. The only problem I foresee is when multiple requests are sent in a short space of time. I think Steam restricts users from sending out lots of invites at one time.

You could make it so it waits x seconds or minutes between requests, so if you get 10 people requesting at once it waits 5 or 10 minutes between invites, but they still get it.

Also, need to read the xml that the query to steamcommunity returns and tell them if it was successful or not.

Some sort of queue system, and only 1 invite per steamid.
