One bug I've noticed which, unfortunately for me is plugin breaking, is that when you switch a survivor into someone else, that person effectively dies for all intensive purposes on versus. This means at the end of the round when the scores are coming up, the players "die" in the scoring right when their models were changed and no distance after that is calculated into the score, even if they make it to the safe room.

this plugin should now be working to for example change to l4d2 charachters on no mercy in L4D2? And L4D1 survirors on L4D2?

It's tricky. As far as Icons and correct scoring go, they're both exclusive, and a hack i tried yielded only limited success.

Ive updated the Plugin to allow changing to all Survivor Models, regardless of Score Bugs.
