Hi. It is possible to realize function that spectators didn't see that the live player uses the Binoculars (not the notification, and visualization).

I tried to add the bind to my cfg, but it never sticks in there. When I use this function manually in the chat (!binoculars) it works fine. But no bind will stick.

What line did you use to bind ? And did you try with sm_binoculars ?

No need for quotes when no spaces are involved. You probably have another .cfg that gets executed after your "config.cfg". Typing "bind p" should tell you the command registered to p and you should be able to find the overriding command in one of the various .cfg that are executed.

No other config in there that could overwrite it, but still it wont stick. After restarting the game, all changes literally have been forgotten. Strange. Funny is, when I check the config.cfg, the key is technically still bound. But, it doesnt work ingame until I manually do bind the key again in the console.

You could try creating an "autoexec.cfg" (in cstrike/cfg) and placing your binds in it. I suggest echoing (i.e. "echo "my cfg executed"" in that .cfg. Enable console w/ launch option. You should see that echo; meaning you know that your .cfg is executed ==> your command is binded.

When a player use binoculars and change weeapon, the binoculars turn off, but when we make the command !binoculars, the plugin say "Binoculars disabled", but the binoculars already removed with the weapon change.
