Has anyone had an issue where some people in server will see chat repeat it self 10 or so times, while everyone else only sees the one post?

no one mentioned the issue till we put in the plugin, so we are trying to find the source of the issue. Although no one else has mentioned any similar problem

it people see repeated chat from everyone, not just those with colored text.

I've never seen this, and there's no reason why this plugin should cause such an issue.

Alright, thanks. Just started popping up around the same time, and no one anywhere has mentioned the problem, so thought I would ask you if you knew anything.

Sounds like a valve update issue to me, or a server problem from the update, since it only affects certain people.

Sadly, it has occurred for our server as-well. I believe it is a glitch with Simple Chat Processor rather than this plugin as it is usually only an effect a single client can see at once.

Can confirm that one message repeat x-times happens with Simple Chat Colors too, so it looks like SCP problem.

This is an issue with the second SayText2 usermessage (the 'fake' one that replicates the actual message); I have a patch (a really hacky patch) that will fix this in the new SCP plugin, but as I said, it is very hacky, so I will try to fix that before releasing the new version. If you are intersted in this fix, let me know and I will put up a public GitHub repository (I need to do that) and release the new beta version through the developement branch. Also, just a side note, Antithasys also ran into the same issue when he was trying to make the Simple Chat Processor deadchat module; that's why the plugin was never released.

P.S. I have no idea why this happens; I just know it happens.

Only works in Source 2009 games, which include: Team Fortress 2 Counter-Strike: Source Half-Life 2: Deathmatch Day of Defeat: Source

Does not work in DODS because of this:

That is really sad, because no plugin ever will manipulate DODS-Saytext =(

Simple Chat Processor is unapproved and it seems the author is inactive (again)

I was not aware that Simple Chat Processor was unapproved. I'm planning on just integrating the functionality of SCP into the plugin directly.
