These lines do nothing at all. Theyre spelled wrong and have no value.


Are you sure the Plugins are running? Use 'meta list' and 'sm plugins list' to make sure you did the setup right.
Ah, the problem was I didn't have the metamod.vdf file.

I added the "sm" lines because the config files weren't being generated and I thought I had to enable the mods myself. While unimportant now, I don't understand why they're "spelled wrong."

Thanks for getting me on the right track checking the plugin list.

Say you wanted to DISable guncontrol. The correct way would be

PHP Code:
l4d2_guncontrol_enabled 0 
or if you WANT sourcemod to do it for you

PHP Code:
sm l4d2_guncontrol_enabled 0 
Note 'sm' is not needed unless you want to change locked game convars.

The plugin generates a config file, check your left4dead2/cfg/sourcemod/ folder.

hmm I have noticed a few strange things with your version of the weapon unlock plugin in coop mode.

1. Weapons in safe room randomly change after a few seconds at start of map. (maybe this is intended?)

2. When a map is restarted (due to team death/incap) players may respawn with the weapon the had when they died. We even had one poor guy that joined as a dead bot during game and every time the level switched or restarted he would spawn dead :S

I dont support coop. Take it as 'hilarious randomness' feature instead of a bug.

Strange things too,

1] This thing has already been stated. I have edited the plugin to shorten the delay so people cant really notice this happening, but it seems that some other strange thing happen... Atomis ill post a screenshotie for ya, maybe you will know:

Its spawning double weapons now with the delay set to 2sec, theres only just a few places where it occurs, so it seems really strange to me so far.

Notice the scar-to-sg spawn, thats even more scary

Was this the reason for you to make the delay so long? Wasnt happening before with your version i think.

And last but not least, its not happening in coop only, this was actually taken in versus.

May I ask, how do I save those guncontrol settings?

Whenever I close my server and then start it up again I have to re-adjust the settings.
