When playing realism mode, a new player will only appear at safe rooms. Respawning is disabled in realism mode (no closet rescues), which means that using the sb_add command won't spawn a new player (or bot) until the next level loads.

hi guys, this is my first time running a l4d2 dedicated server..I just installed this plugin and increased the maxplayers to 10 (Where as the 2 would be for us admins). But how come it displays the max players as 31 (in gametracker, hlsw and in-game server browser)? Heres my server.cfg configuration:

sm_cvar sv_visiblemaxplayers 8
sm_cvar sv_maxplayers 10
sm_cvar sv_removehumanlimit 1
sm_cvar sv_unlock_sb_add 1
sm_cvar sv_force_unreserved 1

Any1 know whats wrong. I use this mod and superversus for my 32 player versus server. In my lf42superversus.cfg are the vars correct for 16 surv limit and 16 zombie.

I use the latest versions of superversus and lf4toolz on my game server hostet with linux. Anyone can help maybe?! My Server has 32 slots (see banner) and is generelly unreserved.

And it seems that my server has often only 8 players but its unreserved and more then 8 can joinged, but seems only as specs and the teams show often as full. Can any1 one help?!

download .sp file for superversus and remove line 201 to 204 and then compile

edit: also you need to change your server.cfg

If your renting from Gameservers do you still need to have the "+maxplayers 12" on the command line ?

EDIT: I compiled the superversus.sp with delete line 201 to 204. This warning after compile is ok?

new linux only snapshot for l4d2
-include new cvar sv_force_normal_respawn (0/1) - this will force normal(ghost) spawn on finales
0 - to use normal spawn
1 - to force ghost spawn on every map
