Plugin updated

23-8-2009 Version 1.1
  • Changed OnClientConnect with OnPostAdminCheck so players receive the decal later, should fix some issues
  • Changed the Filter Flag for the TraceRay to MASK_ALL (experimental)
  • Renamed all cvars to start with md_
  • Added version cvar md_version
  • Lots of code cleanup

I am having an issue where my first decal saves to file, but the reset do not. I only get a pl_goldrush cfg file. When I switch to hoodoo to paint the same decal and save; it does not create a pl_hoodoo_final cfg. I tired manually creating the file, but that doesn't work either. I also have tried many positions and painted the decal in many locations on many maps, but it does not save them. Any ideas?

What game is it ?
Does the cfg folder have correct chmod permissions (assuming it's on linux)

It's on TF2, Windows Server 2003. I have used your plugin in the past with success. It's been about 6 months since we last used it. But it's a new server with your latest version.

There's also no errors being generated.

Could you zip and upload me your map-decals dir and tell me the position pn the map where you tried to spray ? This could help me reproduce the error, tjx

Alright, thanks for your help!

In the maps folder there's 2 cfgs. "pl_goldrush.cfg" was automatically created by your plugin and "pl_hoodoo_final.cfg" was manually created by me. In the "pl_hoodoo_final.cfg" it has the position of the spray.

Edit: I noticed that I couldn't download the uploaded file I attached. Here's an alternative mirror:

I was able to just test on one map, dustbowl, and it worked. It worked w/ your test image and our own image. It took awhile on the saving decal, to write the file. I think it finally cooperated when I change the permissions on the map-decals folder and restarted.

doesn't work on dustbowl for me
I can paint them but I can't save them. No error, it just doesn't create the save file
