Ya I know. I do too.

Were just trying to figure out how to differentiate it. And it looks like spies can also build completely working dispensers also so...Gonna need a check for that too.

Well, once I can get soucemod to work on my Linux server, I'll be adding this plugin: http://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?t=125548 (til valve fixes it).....

A quick fix for the teleport issue for build restrict plugin.

Set the cvars to "2" for entrances and exits.

They changed the classname, thats why its fucked up.

That will fix any problems tho and should squash the engie exploit. Still need to add an exception for the spy though.


PS: Thats only a quickfix as it would still allow engies to build either 2 entrances or 2 exits, but that person would have to be attempting to exploit to do it.

Valve really screwed up on this one. Not only did they break SMM and SM (which is understandable, I guess) with little warning (which is not understandable), but they re-introduced an exploit of this magnitude. Much fist shaking is in order.

They need testers, to test their usually-broken updates before shoving it down everybody's throats.

Agreed.

This is the second time they have screwed us in less than a week and they did it good and proper on both engines.

L4D2 Busted everything aswell and Custom Campaigns are still broken even now and still no patch.

It appears that they prefer to use their customers as unpayed Beta Testers.

so is anyone else having this still happen after the lastest patch? i have seen a couple engies still able to build multiple sentries after the update tonight.

If you want to test it, just type "build 0 0" in your console then "build 0 1" ect... Of course you have to be an engie while testing it.

This is how they are doing it.
