I would recommend reading it more closely - it is a quote by Robert Oppenheimer, the head of the manhattan project (aka the project that developed the nuclear warhead :-)).

It is actually a quote from the "Bhagivad Gita" in Hinduism where God Krishna is speaking with a soldier and when translated to English, it became "I am become death, destroyer of worlds." because somehow that's the exact translation. I do not speak Hindi so I am in no way inclined to translate Hindi --> English; German is my limit ;-).
