if i were running a dedicated server in my basement, and i went down to the basement and typed "sv_superheros 0" in console on the actual machine, would that work? or would i have to use amx_cvar?

the way i see it i think is that you have to only use amx_cvar if you are an admin who joins the game from a different computer

i wouldn't know if it would work without the amx_cvar. I'm not gonna try it though. as far as i'm concerned.. if both ways work.. use the easiest..

its a cvar.... so they can be put directly into the server console (or in game console for listen server admin).
if you are not at the server console or the LS admin then you need to use amx_cvar or amx_rcon
