I was thinking the same thing! But I don't know about the skins, It's not possible to just add a scientist skin to a player and I don't know how to model

Well there's plenty of plugins that can change a player's model into pretty much anything, like WC3FT (goomba) or Insanity Mod (haven't been able to compile that).

Noone's asking you to give the models working animations or anything though >.>

If anyone wants to disguise as eg. a bush or a tree you don't need it anyway, static models should be enough.

EDIT: Suggestion, cvar to not only make it free for admins, but make the whole thing for admins only.

I'm just looking forward to the complete model change. Like I said, don't worry about animations and stuff, in fact, a model such as a bush or a hostage with "proper" CS animations wouldn't be much a disguise huh? Just give away the fact that you're hiding.

All you have to do is change the model, and find some way to get model(name)s from maps which the server owner can select and add into the menu. Per map though.

Heh, but that's usually enough. Some players might actually miss details (small models) being in the wrong place in certain maps, but mostly they'll actually figure out that you're in disguise and not really a chicken/wine bottle, so it's fairly balanced.

I was gonna ask how to add models to the config files but nvm, I'll just use HLMV to view models and directly take names from the models folder.

In fact I think I'll test this today again =]

EDIT: Forgot, if I use the ingame commands to heighten or lower the offset, will that be saved to or overwritten in the config file?

Well what I got during testing, the menu worked fine, shifting did too.
But there's a few things about it.

I use the camera view menu and if I put my cam view to third person with that, and then use +shift and let go of it, my camera view goes back to first person, I suppose this is normal since view is reset but can this be changed?

When you shift, you can turn and aim around, which is fine, but you can still move around too a little bit. I'd like to suggest a cvar that either completely "freezes" the player in place (not being able to move/jump) or allow complete moving and jumping freedom.

And please do the complete model change, nobody really fell for the disguise because everytime they saw me or bits of me sticking out of the model, and not even transparent.
--Either that or you could just make the player model transparent, though I think doing the model change is easier (and maybe less CPU expensive?)

One more thing, the first time I tested +shift and let go, I got super movement speed for the rest of the round, yet whatever I did the next rounds didn't start the same bug.

Oh yes, I haven't tested with any different cvar values like admin only or free for admins yet, just default settings.
