i know Germany will win, the past 2 world cups germans had the golden boot. If not then Spain, if not then Brazil. Only match fixing can result in another country lifting. I am a Soccerjam player from India (but looking to change my nationality, leik nao)

Well, i think they should think before talk.
The money for the cup comes from a bank. That money couldnt be used for the country itself.
And with the cup, brazil will get a lot of money from foreign people. And that money that brazil will win will have taxes, wich means, it will go to brazilian state. In the end, brazil will get more money, money that can be used for schools, hospitals, etc. With that bank money, they couldnt. So brazilians are getting crazy for something that will help them
But well, things arent perfect. I could talk bad about PT, but it would be against forum rules. So i should stop now. But brazilian people should calm down, because brazil will just get benefits with Cup...

Why? The more dearest cup of all times and i PAY my taxes applied in products (ALL). Do not say to me say calm when i live in this country and know about corruption etc.
not worry i not talking about foreigners who come to brazil, but this money (32 bi) can be applied in other priorities like public security, health, education and others.

Don't blame FIFA for the Brazillian government's downfalls. It's like blaming the IOC for Russia's exorbitant spending on the Sochi Olympics.

Let's be honest, FIFA came to win your share and our government paid this.

FIFA expropriated several families from their homes around the stadium on game day, and it was not a determination of the government (and this was not a government rule, was at the request of FIFA)
