No this is actually from one of my other plugins (unreleased) so I copied and pasted to be quick

You could just use the deathmsg event and check all the players instead of just the killer and the victim.

Afaik set_task should be avoided if can be.

Obviously there are some situations when set_task is needed.

It is not normal for lagg when spawning (Players that randomly lagg should be kicked). Anyway this plugin does not take action on spawn anymore.

Could do but that could cause a lot of lag especially on full servers with many kills.

What is wrong with setting a task? It just delays things a bit so the client has a chance to not be lagging or ping spiking.

Unreliable method, considering how is "volatile" such value, a single ping check is inaccurate. It's irrelevant to think it works fine on your server since it can't represent all servers. The method, as it is, doesn't make sense.

This is also redundant, there is are already others plugins which do a better job, like Lame Connection Punisher, where the approach would be more smart/accurate.
